Fanless and Reliable Retail hardened computers need to be reliable, as they often are used for mission critical applications and not placed in an office environment. The Logic Controls LC8200 provides unparalleled reliability by being a fanless unit. It is an ideal computer for use in harsh environments with high levels of dust or oil or when fan noise is not desirable. For enhanced reliability, all of the computer components and connectors reside on one PC board. LC8200's single board computer limits the number of internal cables, a common source of loose connections and failures. A true no-moving-part operation is provided when compact flash is used for mass storage or boot-from-network configurations are employed.
Ultra Compact and Rugged LC8200 has a very compact form factor – only 2”H x 8”W x 6”D. Two mounting brackets enable these modules to be mounted almost anywhere – on a wall, ceiling, table top or under a counter. The computer is housed in a rugged die cast case for extra protection.
Full Compliment of I/O Ports LC8200 also provides a very impressive compliment of up-to-date and legacy I/O ports. Up to 4 serial, 4 USB 2.0, 1 VGA, 1 parallel, 1 ethernet, 1 PS/2, microphone and speaker ports are all available. Hence industrial applications that require serial or parallel interfaces are fully addressed. The LC8200 also uses Intel-compatible, Pentium-class processors, so it can run Windows and Linux-based applications. Whether your application runs on Windows XP, Windows XP embedded, Windows 2000, Windows CE or Linux, your operating system needs are supported by LC8200. This enables the unit to be used in a wide variety of applications – in a restaurant’s kitchen system, in a POS workstation, in an auto ID workstation, etc.

LR3000U Thermal Printer
Reliable and Efficient LR3000 is the first Logic Controls thermal printer used for retail and hospitality applications. Developed with innovative concepts, this printer was designed to be efficient to use, wasting no time during the checkout process. This allows retailers to keep the spotlight on their customers’ needs. In researching the best environmental practices and trends, Logic Controls focused on an extensive product life-cycle, using thermal printing technology, which provides superior performance and minimizes waste of paper. It is also ROHS compliant.
Innovative and Sturdy LR3000 is equipped with two innovative features: Easy Recovery System (ERS) and Modular Cartridge System (MCS). If a paper jam occurs, ERS restores the printer’s capability simply by lifting the printer cover, then lifting and putting back the paper roll. MCS holds all the electronic parts of the printer. It allows the changing of either the mechanism or the cartridge to be completed in a few minutes. These features optimize the ease of service and reduce the costs of printer down-time and maintenance. The LR3000 housing is designed with an easy to clean, non-fading material which makes it ideal for demanding environments.
Compatibility The LR3000 software tools were designed to facilitate the intergration to commercial applications. To allow a quick and easy installation in any environment, the LR3000 offers a wide range of point-of-sale protocols, like ESCPOS, JAVAPOS and OPOS, and spooler drivers for either Windows or library (SO) for Linux. Aligned with market needs and trends, the LR3000 Virtual COM Driver tool is used to render compatible applications designed to communicate data with serial interfaces to the USB and Ethernet interfaces.

Fits Almost Anywhere The MR1000 Series MSR is only 100mm long and can fit almost anywhere, making it ideal for POS and desktop applications. Whether it is used stand alone or attached to a monitor, touchscreen or all-in-one unit, the MR1000 provides the functionality needed with an extremely small form factor.
Easily Programmable The MR1000 Series MSR is easily programmable through the programming utility intuitive graphical user interface. By simply clicking on buttons and entering parameters, an integrator can easily set up the MR1000 for use with a minimal invetment in time and training. It is easy to enable/disable tracks, change start and stop sentinels, and add prefixes, field terminators and suffixes. A built-in decoder reads all combinations of tracks 1, 2 and 3. The MR1000 Series MSR also supports a wide range of reading speeds and includes special firmware to avoid transmission errors due to bus contention.
