Power Options
There are three options to power this cash drawer. The choice of AC adapter or bracket kit may be specified when ordering.
AC Adapter
12V 1A secondary Bracket Kit +12V from the system internal disk driver power connector.
* The system power supply should have enough spare capacity on +12V for this option to function properly.
Pin 9
+12V from Pin 9 of RS-232C port. Some industrial computers allow Pin 9 of RS-232C port to be set to +12V. Please make sure there is over 1.5A available for reliable operation.
When Pin 9 or the DC In Jack on drawer cable is used for power, including the use of expansion bracket, Pin 9 cannot be used for status detection. |
