OPL 9728 now makes data capture easy for everyone! Small and lightweight, these handheld terminals collect your data at an impressive 100 scans per second. With enough memory to accommodate over 95,000 barcodes, the OPL is handy for gathering market research data, creating lists, or numerous other home or professional data collection applications. An internal real time clock enables each record to be tagged with a data/time stamp for accuracy and tracking.
The LCD display with backlight allows easy readability of as many as ten lines of information even in harsh environments. Three key operation permits user definable functions to be created and stored to simplify repetitive tasks.
The OPL 9728 features IrDA wireless communication that permits cable free portability. Collect your information in a remote location such as a store or a warehouse and upload data to your PDA, computer, mobile printer, or cellular phone using either the communication/charging cradle, or transfer data directly using IrDA.
A back-up battery enables extended use between charging cycles and even protects your data because it allows your stored data to be saved even after your primary rechargeable batteries have been drained. Custom applications can be developed using either a Software Development Kit (SDK) or Power Users can use the Opticon A.G application generator to quickly and effectively build applications without writing a single line of code.
