The tablet user interface is a lightweight edition of the pos intended to run on 7" (or larger) Windows 8.1 tablets. The Tablet Server is used to print customer receipts and prep tickets for orders submitted from the tablet user interface. An unlimited number of tablets can run from a single tablet server license.
The tablet user interface and tablet server are installed by default. The tablet server should be run at the main pos station after the receipt printer and prep printers have been configured in Back Office/Peripherals.
The tablet pos user interface is a lightweight version of Amigo Pos with lower system requirements. The tablet pos does not require a license, as all customer receipts and prep tickets are printed by the tablet server.
Each tablet has the ability to override the default tablet server printer settings so that customer receipts can be printed at the receipt printer that is located closest to the tablet. In addition, prep tickets can be routed to the bar or prep station printer that is located closest to the tablet.
